How can I fix my tumble dryer HOOVER HNC170 CONDENSER?

Have the above, it is 3 years old. It starts up and goes round but does not heat up. The filter light stays on even though filters are clean and clear- any ideas?

hi there i have tryed to connect my dryer but i see there is 4 coloured wires but i have cliped in the yellow white and black but can not seem to find the red clip so not sure if its a spare

Thanks for that advice, Matt. I had the same problem - I replaced the element like you said (it was easy to do), and now the tumble dryer is working again. Brilliant.

Hi. The heater element has broke. Only 15 or so quid to buy. qualtex.co.uk or com.
Unscrew 10 or so phillips screws on the rear stainless steel cover. Disconect the 4 coloured wires. connect them to the new heater. job done.
10 minute job - easy
