hotpointfirst edition800?

my machine is filling up with water and then draining again. i have changed the brushed and the drum still isnt spinning. Afew days ago it was really loud when it was spinning and now its stopped altogether. The belt is on fine. It clicks through the programme still but does nothing. Is it time for a new one ??? please help.
