its not your ps2 youll probably need to use games from the uk then if they dont work or i would suggest getting Swap Magic. its like a boot disc where you put in the cd then you put the copeyd game in. and it also lets you choose from ntsc pal and normal video modes.
you also have to install some chips in the ps2 when you get it
