How can I fix my TV?

My electrician told me that my TV was adding voltage back to the line and I was wondering what I could do to fix it, or should I throw the TV away?

what make of tv is it.. and how old?..
it sounds like a blag to me.. so he takes it off your hands.. and fixes whatever the problem is..and has a better tv than the one he has already got.

You would be better off throwing your electrician away.... I have never heard such nonsense.
