Dishlex 300 dishwasher ~ how do I fix flashing eco light?

Dishwasher continues to drain & Eco light continues to flash ~ manual says incorrect fill level or fill time. How do I change these?

mine is a dishlex 150 model - same problem "Flashing Eco light" - caused by my using the wrong soap, the float getting stuck as described.
Pulled the machine out, tipped it over like you said, shook it a little, put it back and IT WORKS 100%
Thankyou for your excellent advice

My hose had fallen off the fixing under the sink & water was caught in a U bend. Tilted dishwasher as suggested, attached hose (emptier water) & working again! Hooray - thank you!

Grateful for this forum!

Hi, we had a similar problem with Eco light staying on an the machine continuing to pump. Picked up the tilt remedy from site and tilted the machine back instead of sideways due to room restrictions. Didn't have to disconnect anything - just power off. Turned machine back on and it works. Has gone through a full cycle and stopped as it should. Will see how inks go. Thanks all for the tip, much appreciated. Was about to go get another new one.

Tipped the machine over and removed panel. Found about 500 g of dry dog food and all the wires around the pump chewed through. Damn rat! Lol

Dishlex Global 300 flashing eco light.

Ryball, your solution to tip the machine on it's left side worked perfectly for me. For ease, it does not get any better than that. Thank you.

Thanks heaps for the advice. Worked a treat. Was all set to go out and buy a new dishwasher today, after spending much money on fixing different problems with this machine over a number of years. Now I can save my money for a bit longer!

This problem occurs quite a lot, the advice from Ferd seemed to work.
I tipped machine to the left. Mopped up water, then laid machine on left side.
Took the kick panel and the front metal cover off at the base.
The white float was indeed stuck.
I took the white tray off and cleaned it. I think it's important to do that. I then also placed a piece of tape on the white tray to ensure it didn't slip (I suspect the repair man had done this previously) it just makes everything sit better.
Machine is working well.
The problem was caused by some (ordinary) detergent getting into the system. It foamed up, and the float could not sit back down..
You can defoam in this situation by putting a handful of cooking salt into the machine. It is soluble and gets rid of the suds. This saved $200+

I found pulling it out and giving it a shake reset the level switch.

I had the same problem and sorted it no hassles, only thing is the tilting method got rid of the water from the overflow tray but the high level switch didn't reset, I had to lay the machine on its side and remove the cover panel from underneath the machine pull the white plastic overflow tray off and give the round white foam float a flick as it had got stuck in the high level position...just remember before you do any of this you turn off the power and water to your machine first!

Easy fix, Use a bit of force and pull the dishwasher out.
Get a few towels and tilt to the left. Water will drain out. Push back in. wait 10 mins and turn on.

Note: The pump keeps running when the overflow is full. This solution takes about 1 min + 1 min to clean up the water. 2 towels worked for me.

WATER FILL ADJUSTMENT AND SELECTION - GLOBAL 300 & 450 ONLY.

READ THIS FIRST: Your dishwasher has been preset for a fill time of 80 seconds using only one hose: With mains pressure water supply, in most cases, no time adjustment should be necessary for correct fill levels; if adjustment is required proceed as follows.

Select the "Rinse" cycle and after the unit has filled pause the dishwasher and check the water level inside. If the water level is not between the "MAX" & "MIN" indicators (marked on the lower spray support tower), adjust the level as follows:

1. Close the dishwasher door. Ensure the dishwasher is not running through a cycle. Turn mains switch off and then on again to clear any preset information. Press and hold the Eco button for ten (10) seconds until the buzzer sounds a second time then release the Eco button.

2. The designated progress indicator will illuminate (electronic display models display "H" and fill time)

Illuminated progress indicator Fill time
Pre Wash 75 Seconds
Wash 80 seconds
Rinse 90 seconds
Dry 100 seconds
Ready 110 seconds

3. Press Program or Clear button to select the next fill time as per table above.

4. To test fill level press Start or Pause button. THe dishwasher will drain and the start filling. Listen for the dishwasher to complete filling. Once filled, the fill level must be checked to ensure fill time is correct i.e. the water level is between "MAX" & "MIN" marks.

5. once complete, press Eco button to save the selection and exit the fill time mode. The dishwasher will drain and the buzzer will sound on the completion of the section.
