My central locking system on my vauxhall astra 1.4LS 1999 wont work. had new battery in fob, but will not operate the cenral locking. The only door i can open is the drivers with the key manually. all other doors will not open even from inside. Can anyone advise me what is wrong, and how to fix it.
Hi lynda. Open drivers door with key then put key in ignition. Turn key until ignition lights are on. Press the lock button on the keyfob 2 or 3 times or until doors start to lock/unlock with keyfob. This worked on my astra mk4 estate.
