How can i eject my cd?

I had gone out of town for about a week and had left a cd in my JVC player without the face unit on it. When i returned my car's battery was down so I had to get it boosted. After I did this, I turned my cd player on and it plays the cd that i left in there but it won't let me eject it. When I hit the eject button, it says eject but it won't eject the cd, it'll just switch to radio. What do i do?

Yeah, Im not sure that will do the trick. Resetting it mabye, but pressing the button repeadily will probally not "confuse it" its not a dog, its a cd player. But I am also having the same problem. I think the memory becomes corrupted, and must be reset. But in my case the manual reset does nothing. Even when I unplug the unit completely. It still retains some memory (ie. the fm station names I set). I need to find a way to clear the memory. I have a Jvc kd lh-300 and the display says resetp00 in my case

try resetting the head-set (it will tell you in the manual about resetting) if it still plays up, keep pressing the eject button rapidly (this will confuse the cd player and ejects the cd)
