ford mondeo 2007 6000cd?

hi i have a ford 6000 cd player the radio will not play fm station yet will play medium wave and also plays cd's the rds works as the traffic annoucement kicks in when listen to cd's but there is no volume this happend all of a sudden as one day was fine next day played nothing please help if you can
