Eco light is flashing, and drain is running, but won't do a wash?

Dishlex Global 300 Series. Lights were working, motor made sounds, but cycle did not commence. Then Pots Cycle light would flash. I've taken it downstairs, now eco light flashes and drain is running.

We had the same problem so use the same approach as outlined here (undid the bolts behind the kickplate, then soaked up the water from the little tray) and also tried Mandy and Ron's reset idea. Worked perfectly - thank you so much!!! We are yet to find the cause of the leak but at least the dishwasher works for tonight.

As described above, the float switch tray had water in it. Once I soaked up the water, the dishwasher started working fine.
I believe its there to stop the machine from flooding, and shorting out the wiring.
I also found a small hole in the drain hose, which was why the tray had water in it (Or so I believe). I have repaired the hose and made sure there were no other leaks.
Should be fine now!

I have a Dishlex Global 300 also where the ECO light would just flash and the drain pump run continuously - and I was not able to do anything by pressing buttons.

It turned out to be an overflow of water into the base of the machine.

There is a float switch in the base of the machine in a small plastic dish.
There is a metal cover with 2 small bolts that have to be removed to get to it.

I sponged the water out of that dish (and the rest in the base of the dishwasher), the float switch turned off - and everything worked as normal again.

The cause of the overflow in my case was not putting some filter parts back in the machine correctly. It could also be caused by too long of a fill time for the water pressure at your house.
