Fridge in Fridge/freezer is freezing - help?

I have a Kelvinator KC1 27B Fridge Freezer and the Fridge is as cold as the Freezer and therefore freezing everything in sight - is it possible to purchase a new thermostat and fit or is it a new piece of kit (the unit is only 3 years old!!!)

I don't see a diagram for this model, is that an accurate number you listed?? All thermostats can be replaced with either an exact replacement or a generic control... It's just that many of the newer refrigerators now have electronic controls that 'do it all' for you which usually means replacing the entire control, often not an inexpensive repair anymore...
