Mend Kirby G5 Help Green Light

Brush roller on my Kirby G5 is not rolling. Can anyone help?

I just acquired a Kirby G5 and the brush roller is not turning. Also, the green light is not on when I am trying to vacuum. I am not certain as to the problem. If anyone can help or if you know of a website where I can download instructions, I would really appreciate it.
