Zanussi DE4744 Stuck in wash cycle?

Hi My dishwasher starts up ok, in all cycles, pumps refills, pauses to heat then start to wash the problem is continues to wash and does not stop and once I get tired of it finds the water does not heat up, BUT if I stop it early (in normal cycle I find the water hot) been testing it on the 30 min cycle and checked the wiring to the pcb in the front door. I have also powered off from the mains to reset, this works a fortnight ago but doesn't any more any ideas??
