Brother NX 600 - tension problem?

Hello Chris,
Go through the basics first, make sure the presser bar is up when you thread the machine so the thread goes completely through the discs, make sure there is no fluff inbetween the discs, top tension should be between 4 and 6.
Bottom tension should be enough to be able to pull the thread through with some resistence.
