Theh best way is to buy a foot of fuel line. Push the fuel line into the tank untill you can grab it
out by the tank filler. Attach the filter and pull the fuel line back to the position you want it. Cut off the
fuel line long enough to reach the carburator.

You will have to feed the fuel line through the tank, attach the fuel filter one the end and then pull the line back through. Then cut the fuel line to length.
