I have a old Optima alarm panel (not sure exactly). Twice in the last 5 nights the alarm has gone off in the morning (3.50 am and 4.10 am). Both zones 3 and 6 were iluminated both times. I could find nothing wrong. I've been told it could be the battery and it needs replacing.
I used to have a similar problem with an old alar. It was the eletrically powered milk float setting it off. When the milk float pulled up outside, the pulse of electrical energy wa picked up by the alrm & set it off. I fitted a suppressor & it stopped.
