I had a bump 2 months ago which required a new bonet,offside wing, and front spoiler which was repaired under the insurance. In the last two weeks when I take my foot off the accelerator to brake or change gear there is a knocking noise coming from the offside front area which I can`t locate. I have taken it back to the garage that carried out the repairs who said there is nothing related to the repair carried out cause a problem, ANY IDEA`S ?
your question does not go into detail but if the knocking decreases when accelarating and increases when slowing down you have a loose roadwheel,if the knock is more of a clunk the link rod between the suspension leg and anti roll bar is worn,it consists of a small bar with a balljoint at either end.
