Mend Toyota Estima Fuel Lucida

changing fuel filter toyota lucida?

Need to change my fuel filter and dont know where to start,any help would be gratefully recieved. Thanks anyone.

Its a lucida estima 1993 2.2TD

fill the new filter with fuel or even better with injector cleaner before putting it on.If you stretch you can continue to pump the black button whilst the starter motor is running dont give it short tries just one long continuous run, dont touch accelererator the engine will start to shudder after 15 seconds and start to run a while after that

it sits under the passenger side, remove drain from bottom, unscrew (you may need to use a filter wrench to do this), grease seal of new filter lighly and screw into the housing. Use the pump on the top of the filter housing to pump fuel through, repeat the pressing of the pump until it goes hard. Start engine, check for leaks.
