Humming alarm panel veritas 8?

MY VERITAS 8 ALARM PANEL KEEPS ON MAKING QUITE A LOUD HUMMING NOISE, IF I PUSH ON THE PANEL BUY THE SCREWS IT WILL SOMETIMES STOP IT.THE NOISE IS RANDOM.

Try tightening the screws on the transformer.
It will mean taking the front of the panel off. I've had two or three Veritas 8's with the same problem

its the transformer in the panel whats known as transformer buzz and the only way to cure it is to replace the transformer
