Homelite XL Textron point gap ?

Have Homelite XL Textron (freebee) which is hard to start. Do not have spec book & would like to know proper gap or degree.
Right now points are set at .030 TDC. Points look very good so I do not plan on replacing. Do not have manual. Thanks any help would be appreciated. Saw has Champion DJ7J plug. rwolson@us.ibm.com
