gilera stalker problems?

i brought my stalker off ebay and the kick start case was off and every think in side it was off aswell, i have got it all back on and i sure somthink is missing but dnt know what i manages to get it started and it did not run welll it was grinding from in side the engine.
the bike came with no battery so i brought a new 1 and its on the bike but when the key is turned its dead i cheaked the fuse's and the battery is fully charged.before i could only start my bike on kick start now it wont start at all. can any one help me with any of my problems (grinding/rubbing, no electrics , and whats missing) thanks to any one that can help.
