I need help?

Pretty much won't charge, the screen doesn't display, and all I hear is the sound of the computer, but no booting noise of sorts, almost just like you hear only the fan motor. It is an IBM ThinkPad 600E series 2645

Download the Hardware Maintenance manual from www.lenovo.com and follow the diagnostics. I would not worry about fixing it too much though ThinkPad 600s are ancient history.
