lawn mower pull cord?

Remove the pull cord cover and winding assembly inside. this will reveal a cup like device with 3 or 4 small grooves at the top. Tie a single knot at the end of your old cord. Insert the knot in one of the slots and wind clockwise 3 or 4 turns. Prime engine a pull. This will spin your engine and hopefully start your engine. Worked for me. Good luck.
