Roca duo toilet flush runs on continually - help please?

I had the problem of Roca running toilet and I have the same two button system, quarter moon on one side and the small full moon button. As a fanatic about cleaning I think I have taken of the chrome off of the sides where the buttons sit, then I saw like a green discolouration build up I cleaned it all off and now the water as stopped? If it works that’s good enough for me

Company not helpful in the least. No fitting instructions available with new parts and their web site is virtually non existent, or hard to find and contains no details to assist in part replacement if you are replacing worn out old system parts.

Roca Dual Flush systems work fine, it's just that they need to be fitted by people who are familiar with them, or have been on the correct installation courses.

Have excactly the same problem with the Roca Dual Flush, struggling to fix it, i've tried taking out two plastic white screw sticks and putting them tight again.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem.

In fact it is a problem of fitting the mechanism on top of the tank. If the rear pin is not perfectly fitted, the mechanism is slighlty twisted when you push it and friction on the lifted part prevents it from going down even if the front two pins seem ok.

Just unfit the mechanism (not removing it completly, just take the three pins out of their slot by moving the mechanism sidewards before lifting it) and then fit it back. After or 2 tries, everything will work fine after.

Your problem is the seal at the bottom of the flush valve - at the bottom of this you will find a seal and a large screw thread, undo this and remove the seal clean it and reverse replace the seal or fully replace with a new seal. It is leaking from the bottom that is why the water leaks into the basin.

The problem with the continuous flush (or the toilet failing to refill) is the angle fo the flushing mechanism inside the cystern.
There is limited space and the fluching mechanism can be twisted round against the side if someone tries to tighten the connection underneath.
When you have removed the lid, see if you can gently twist the whole flushing mechanism away from the side it is touching.
Test the float will rise and fall easily.
Once these are true, you can test the flush by pressing one of the plastic screws on the top of the flushing mechanism.

Same problem continuous flow.... was hoping to find the answer here. i have the duo with large double flush panel to the front. I usually need to repeat flush a few times and that works however, it defeats the whole point of the duo system which is meant to save water. P/s has anyone identified where I can get replacement parts as we think we may have cracked part of the internal parts due to repeatedly removing the front panel

My roca toilets have two buttons. One cresent shaped and one circular. The cresent button fits around one side of the circular one. To remove the cistern lid you must remove the buttons. This is done by pushing down the circular button and pulling up the cresent button. Once the cresent button is out , the circular one will come out easily. Now put a screwdriver down the centre hole and undo the screw, the heh presto you can lift off the lid

I am having the same continuous problem with my Roca Toilets. I have tried un-screwing the screw slightly which is located underneith the two Buttons , this also worked for a day or so but the toilet has since returned to its continuous flushing state. I have also cleaned the Rubber washer (located at bottom of systern) I have been tempted many of times to get a Hammer to the toilet systern (this would not solve the problem obviously but the satisfaction of revenge would be sweet if only for a brief moment). The only way to stop this flushing problem I have found is to press the Large flush button once, wait for the systern to re-fill then press the small Flush button and wait for the systern to re-fill, The small flush may need to be pressed upto 3 times to stop the toilet from flushing (this stops the problem on my toilets 90% of the time)

After thinking about the comments posted above and examining the system I have, it appears that the componants are really cheaply made plastic, there is a possibility that a couple of moving parts are binding together on the flashing (the little stub/tit that is usually found on Plastic moulded componants. These Stubs/tits should be removed prior to assembly) this could be the reason for the system not returning to its origional position.

Do Roca Sell a simple single flush alternative that can be installed instead ?

Same problem. They are absolutely junk. I wonder how many of you have a new George Wimpey home.
2 of mine have gone, but it seems down to the large washers at the end of the main flush unit.
I changed these and they started working again, but only for a while.
Now, one of the units has broken all together. I'm going to replace the whole system as it's not worth my time.

Have excactly the same problem with the Roca Dual Flush. Frustratingly, we cannot unscrew the main ring around the flush to investigate. We've cut off the water supply for now so that we can buy some time to investigate further.

Any suggestions on how to undo the ring without doing any damage?

I had the same problem with a Roca cistern, but I’m not clear from your description if it’s the same type. Ours has two flushing buttons on the top of the cistern lid.

In our case I solved it by removing the two flushing buttons – use a fine blade screwdriver to lever them off their plastic posts – to reveal a screw between them. Just slightly slackening this screw allowed the valve to fully close.

Make a note of which button came off which post as they only fit one way round.
