hitachi DZ-GX5040E camcorder cannot eject disc?

Oh MAN!!!!! thought I had found a solution to the jammed disc door on mine too but no! Does anybody out there have a solution. I have left my piece plugged for several minutes now and it only keeps displaying Eject and nothing more.

Have you had any replies from anyone? Mine started to do the same thing about 4 months ago. I find if you leave it turned on as though your going to film and plugged into the wall after about 5-10 mins, sometimes longer, it asks you to reformat the disc. (Unfortunatly its the only way) then after its wiped away any nice memories you may have on it, it allows you to do what you have to do. I dont know why it does it though, it could just be a glitch with the make. Do you find it doesnt record properly either? I have tried different discs and it does the same thing, it looks like its recording fine then you play it back and it has green squares all over the picture. If you hear anything from anyone could you let me know as well? cheers.
