How do I remove the back off of my XL 6562 brother sewing machine?

How do I remove the back off of my XL 6562 Brother Sewing Machine. I dropped the screw that holds the needle down into the bobbin casing

Hello Shirley,
it is very difficult if your machine is in two pieces, I would not attempt it unless you knew exactly what you were doing, if I were you I would tip the machine upside down with the needle plate open and try and shake it out.
