HI have a 98 iveco daily 35/10 2.8TD just had engine replaced and has really low power particulary pulling up hills, any advice on what the problem could be? going to contact company bought engine off but any faults i should check would be much appreciated, thanks
if the turbo is not working or the vacume boost pressure pipe is not connected to the turbo or the top of the fuel pump you will have no power to check the turbo rev the engine to 4000 rpm and at the same time try to squeeze rubber pipe going into the inlet manifold if it goes hard you have turbo pressure and the turbo is working but if your able to squeeze it almost half it not working.so if you have that pressure check that you have a vacume pipe coming from either the inlet manifold or the turbo to the top of the injector pump or to a boost pressure
