Scantronic 9200 Reset?

Thanks to Neil from Tritec alarms for replying, the Scantronic alarm system will not reset,this is following a very kind double glazing installer who cut through the alarm wires, there was a recessed sensor,which i have replaced with a new surface mounted sensor,i have carried out a continuity test and this seems okay ,the alarm will still not set.
Is there a special code in addition to the normal door entry code for resetting the system

Afew reasons why it doesn't set? Did the door contact work before you moved it. Have you got them lined up correctly. Look inside the contact with the small glass reed in it. Check to see if its not broken. Also look at the magnet in the other part of the contact. Check to see if you've got a Tamper fault.
