Neff U1721 oven light on all the time?

Have just replaced Neff U1721 main oven element, oven working fine now but oven light remains on even in off position any idea's ?

This is a guess but I wonder if you've swapped some wires around when replacing the element and caused the light to have a permanent live instead of a switched live? If that is definitely not the case then it seems probable that you disturbed something while working on the element. Either way - you're going to have to take it apart again!
