My Hoover fridge freezer,model HNMF 2605 A,(frost-free)is noisy. ?

My Hoover fridge freezer, model HNMF 2605 A, which is frost-free, has developed a loud intermittent noise from the freezer part. Sounds like the motor.

Hello
I pulled of the cover but the fan does not seem to be making the noise.
more like a rumble goes on for about 10 seconds then off then on. etc..

Any help

I have a Hoover Fridge Freezer - frost free, which was given to me. When I plugged it in it's making an awful noise I looked at the back and thought it was coming from the motor part at the bottom, but after reading everyone else's post it seems like it could be the fan blade.

Is this really an easy job for anyone to fix? or should I call someone out to have a look at it

Same problem here - and Tim's suggestion worked.

The actual cause of the noise was the fan blades catching on ice within the space for the fan.

Moving the fan forward helped, but I decided to use a hairdryer and get rid of all the ice. Long job - but silent freezer is back!

Exactly right!
I followed Tim's avdice and sorted my noisy Hoover A Class Frost Free Nextra. Took just a few mins and by adjusting the balance of the cooling fan it's so nice and quiet now. Cheers Tim!!

i just fixed mine with the same problem, took me 10 mins and no parts!! It is quiet again, this is what i did:-Pull out freezer draws, Remove plastic cover(2 screws at bottom, clips in at top), You will now see a fan blade, which was causeing the noise,it has slipped too far on the shaft, pull fan forward so the blades are no longer hitting brackets, spin blade to make sure of free running, refit cover,Hey presto noise gone!!
