my canon ZR60 is recording and playing but there is no picture?

My Canon ZR60 is recording and playing, I can hear the audio, but there is no picture in either view finder - there are data and settings etc. And the camera is definitely in camera mode and/or play mode.

Here's what I found. I've just sent an email requesting Canon to fix it. Hopefully they still honor it.
