301 is a bad keyboard error. If you gunked it out or spilt some soda, there's your problem.
Troll E-Bay for salvage computers for cheap to take the keyboard, or get hosed by Lenovo for a new one. If you are handy, you may be able to take the keyboard out and clean it.

301 is a keyboard (usually a stuck key) error. Try working all the keys one at a time. Otherwise, download the Hardware Maintenance Manual from www.lenovo.com and work your way through the diagnostics. Don't spend a lot of time or any money however as 600Es are out of the ark.
