My BT Synergy 4500 goes dead when I answer it?

Having looked on several internet websites I would suggest that this cutting out probelm seems to be quite widespread.

I too have had this problem. Initially I changed the rechargeable batteries and the problem disappeared immediately, only to return after a few months. Now I'm REALLY fed up and have decided to replace with a consumer magazine best buy..... not a BT Synergy 4500!

These sets have a very poor charging circuit, and after a while the batteries are cooked and you have to get new ones. Get AAA NiMh rechargables with the highest mAH rating you can find - I think 1100mAH is the highest available.
