How can I fix my Fisher and Paykel 603 washing machine?
The machine starts to add water for several seconds, drum rotates 1/4 turn, then both water and drum stop. This process repeats a number of times before the fault beeps occur.
Thanks so much Trevio, I did what you suggested as my machine was going a bit haywire.. didnt find the small switch you mentioned on my machine but noticed a couple of the little plugs were loose and plugged them back in again and its working again now. :-)

i have same machine, same problem.solution is the (out of balance switch) a micro switch situated under the main control board. undo 2 screws and remove control cover, then remove main board, you will see a small switch with 2 wires on it on rhs, join these wires together until you can get replacement switch (told not expensive) and away u go

Sounds like a lid switch or out of balance switch fault. When it gives the fault beeps, what lights are lit up along the top row of lights? This will tell me the exact fault.
