Mend Pfaff 7550 Sewing Machine Jammed Thread

How can I clear my jammed bobbin?

The bobbin in my Pfaff 7550 sewing machine has jammed. I took the plate off and discovered a thread had been caught in there. I removed the thread but still, the bobbin seems to be frozen. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem? Thanks!

Hello Elsie,
Try forcing the balance wheel backwards that will usually work, failing that you will need to take the bobbin case out itself if it is a drop in bobbin.
