I have bought a house with an installed Optima XM6 Home Alarm. Every time there is a power cut, the alarm comes on. I undestand this is caused by a flat battery. As I never use the alarm anyway rather than replacing the battery, I would like to inactivate the system permanently. The instruction manual does not seem to mention anything about this.
