When turning on the hot water tap to the bath it only takes a few seconds and the water is down to a dribble. The cold water tap to the sink and bath are both OK and so is the hot water tap to the sink. Why does the flow of the hot water to the bath slow down and sometimes stop ?
The bath tap could have an airlock in the pipe that supplies it. A good way of finding out is to connect the bath tap to a hose under mains pressure (The cold water tap in your kitchen.) turn on the hot tap and then turn on the cold for about a minute. Then turn off the hot tap then turn off the cold.
