what causes my saw to cut out after running for a short time?

what causes my mc cullough 441 saw to cut out after running for a short time? Then when you try to restart it will not start.

try a new tank vent, the saw will run until a vacuum on the fuel is created. Then the line becomes vapor locked, forcing you to wait several hours before being able to restart.
