how can i fix my sky+box made by pace?

hi, i have a 3 year old pace sky+box that has worked fine until recently. i seem to have lost the ability for live pause and recording, i have also lost everything i have recorded! Every thing else works fine i have all channels and a good signal. anyone any idea's? thanks
