Sony Erricson C902 keeps freezing!?

My phone is fairly new and it has been freezing alot recently. When I have an incoming call I sometimes can not answer it and sometimes if I do the caller can not hear me properly. It also sometimes does not turn on. I am a plasterer by trade, can the dust off the plaster be affecting this? It has not been dropped or damaged in anyway.
