Why does the water turn off, the Hot water light comes on, and the tub seems to take forever to fill on my Fisher And Paykel Washing Machine- Model 708 Smart Drive- 7.5Kg. Wash in Cold Water only.

First, Check that the inlet hoses are connected properly. The hose coming from the cold tap should be connected on the inlet valve marked C on the panel & the hose from the hot tap on the inlet marked H. Then make sure you select cold wash. If you select warm or hot then both taps must be opened fully.
