how can i fix my Pfaff creative 1471 ?

Presser foot will not come after you bring the lever down. the only way it come down is if I bring it down myself by pulling at it. Can you help

Hello Viki,
All you need is a squirt of WD 40 on the needle bar and move it up and down a few times, the needle bar has to be a very tight fit and it does go dry.
