fuel line replacement Weedeater FL20?

How can you get the new fuel line down through the holes in the gas tank without reaming them out and making them larger? I know they have to be a tight fit but there must be some trick to getting them through the seemingly too small holes......HELP!

cut the new fuel line on the end on a angle put it in the hole enough so you can get it with needle nose and pull it out the top of the fuel tank and put the filter on pull it back out enough so the filter lay down in the tank
