My cd wont eject?

I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Pickup
with stock cd player It will play the cd fine but will not eject .I push eject button but it makes a clicking noise for about 10 second and then stops and the display tell you you check cd. HOW DO I GET CD OUT !!!!
