my 1996 seadoo turns on good but when i go to give it gas it wont take off out of the hole the impeler looks good

The nuts that hold the pump housing to the hull are probobly to tight. Mine was doing the same thing. I put a new impeller but it was still cavitating on takeoff. I found out that when i tightend the nuts i tightened them too tight, it was making the housing out of round!!! When i loosened them and put it back in the water it worked fine!!
