the fan on my oven is slow to start, can I fix this?

My Hygena oven 8 years old starts to get hot immediately but the fan does not start.Is this about to fail altogether or could I take it apart and grease it maybe?

I've just had the same thing happen and Im told by the engineer that it is the motor that is on its way out. Im currently waiting to see if they can get me the part because hygena was part of the mfi group which went into liquidation earlier this year.
