ive had to reload my pc with the windows home cd.
after doing this ive found to my shock that its not finding the sound card and i dont have a cd for it is there anyway of sorting this out?
open the pc and look at the sound card and find out what it is. if it is a card rather than onboard get the manufacturer and the model. go to the manufacturer's website and go to support. put in the model and look for a download that is supported by the os. download it and run it. then go to the device manager in control panel and tell it to look for new hardware. it should find the card and load the driver.
