Belling 636BR fan oven throws the house main trip. ?

The fan oven throws the house main trip a few minutes after the fan is switched on. The fan rotates and blows normally at first switch on. No problem when oven is used in non fan mode.
What is likely to be the problem and how can I get to the fan/motor if this is necessary?
