peugeot expert deisel loss of power up hill and pulling away?

Hi I have just bought a expert 2005 same problem slight misfire when running slow up hill black smoke on misfire start ticks over great were are pipes that you disco help ??????

hello ,i have a 19d 55 plate peugoet expert and it has no power , max 30 miles an hour tops and bad deisel knock on start up which doesnt fully go away please help me

Do not take the pipes off, I did that an it made it worse after a while, we had a new egr valve fitted, a new sellanoid valve, an it didn't solve it, even the mechanic was scratching his head, so he worked his way back down through the exhaust and found the mesh in the catalyst was clogged up, changed all that and it now runs better than ever, in total it cost 330 quid, which I didn't think was bad at all.

egr valve with butterfly flap inside is located on top of engine facing you ,air filter hard plastic pipe connects to it with large jubilee clip .

i had the same prob with my expert i fitted new egr valve ,it was still the same ,i removed the two vaccum pipes to the egr galve and it runs mint ,just tie the pipes out the way
