Losing pressure?

My combi boiler normally has between 1-2 bar pressure on the gauge but recently it has been losing pressure over a day if the central heating has been on, then when its turned off it loses pressure. This does not happen when i use hot water. Can you help.

Hi, Check the reliefpipe outside to see if this is wet/damp. Repressure to 1.2, turn on ch, watch pressure, does it get above 2 bar quickly?

The pressure loss is within the central heating system - there is no connection between that and the domestic side. basically you have a leak somewhere - and the most obvious thing to do is to check to see if the overflow is dripping outside.
