cascade jive thermostatic shower valve?

This probably too late for you, but:
1. Are you absolutely sure the feeds and the non-return valve are the correct way round?
2. Is the temperature setting valve fully anti clockwise?
There is an adjustable max temp stop, the position of which you may have to check.
